Coreopsis 'Big Bang Cosmic Eye'

Standing just 12-15� tall, the compact, well-branched plants are about half the height of �Full Moon� and �Redshift�. Its healthy mid-green foliage remains attractive all season, with the texture being intermediate between the threadleaf and grandiflora types. Loads of large 1�-2�, single, bright sunny yellow blossoms with a prominent burgundy red eye and gold button center are produced over a very long period from early summer through early fall. This compact, long blooming Coreopsis makes a colorful specimen in containers and really makes a splash when planted en masse near the front of flower borders.
