Phlox paniculata 'David'

Garden Phlox

The upright, bushy plant produces enormous, conical panicles of flowers in midsummer. The individual flowers are five-petaled, tubular and those of 'Prime Minister' are white with red eye. The fragrant blooms will continue to appear into late summer and early fall, especially if deadheaded, and are highly attractive to butterflies.
